BLACK FAMILY UNITY DAY

From Various Denominations To One Common Nation

I come from many generations of people who learned not to take everything they see on the surface as truth. We approach our spiritual journeys the same way. I started a site to post my scriptural research and what I think. Please feel free to respond.

One page is a Glossary of words we think we may know the meaning of; but the intended meaning differs from our modern day thought. Here is the link to the Glossary page. If you know me, you know I am doing 50 million things, but I will try to post something every week; if not to the Glossary page, I will post to some other area of the site. Hope you enjoy learning as I have.

In Lak'ech - Mayan for I am another you
Excerpts of Aluna Joy Yaxkin article. Link to the full article is below.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” What goes around comes around.
Mayan tradition In Lak'ech. - I am another yourself (A modern day interpretation) and also means I am you, and You are me (A traditional Mayan interpretation.

In Lak'ech is more that an honorable Maya greeting. It is a moral code. It is a way to live, not only with human beings, but with ALL forms of life in our cosmos!

Solely focusing on the avoidance of causing harm is a neutral action.

A subtle action of living In Lak'ech is honoring all life by giving back to that which gives to us. Instead of solely taking from the spirit world by asking for insight and direction, give back your heart, love, and appreciation to the unseen worlds and the Great Spirit.
